Which spyderco? Please help me decide.

So I keep looking at spydercos but don't know which to choose. The PM2 has a larger handle to blade ratio than I like. I prefer a 3.5 inch blade for EDC so the PM3 doesn't fit the bill either. I would prefer their traditional leaf style blade. I would like something with carbon fiber scales. What models should I look at?
Thank you.

I once had a Caly 3 with the cf/zdp. Fine knife. I sold it a few days later after finding out my then wife had not been paying bills. So started the great knife purge. And then a happily ever after divorce.

I don't care for backlocks, but ZDP is a great steel IMO. Hope you like it!

ZDP-189 is certainly awesome in Spyderco knives. I’ve enjoyed it in a Stretch 2 using a toothy edge. It reminds me of a upgraded D2.

Agreed. The stretch 2 lightweight in ZDP-189 looks like a winner.

Are the spyderco lockbacks not strong? Why do you not like them?

I looked at those but the laminated g10 CF kinda turned me off.

I can understand that feeling.
But I have a GB 2 and feel the CF layer looks better than a lot of all CF handles I've seen.
Plus it has a nice texture that affords better grip.
You can't even tell it's separate from the G10 and it'll never delaminate.
Finally, it's the reason the GB 2 is so reasonably priced.

I was going to propose to a lady this weekend but after reading this there's no way.
