Which Spydercos have the thinnest handles?

I want to know how thick a knife will be in my pocket, but I don't know where to look that up. Lots of places list the length of the blade or the length closed, but not this measurement.

Working from memory mostly regarding the models I am most familiar with, but it may give you a basis for comparison -
The SS models are really thin - Delica 4 SS and Adventura are quite thin.
A little thicker is the Salt I (and Delica 3, Tasman, & Merlin) - pretty thin for FRN.
Caly 3 and Persian are a little thicker.
Delica 4, tiny bit thicker still.
The Native FRN and Caly Jr. FRN and Centofante 3/4 are a little thicker yet.

The 75mm Persian feels pretty thin in the pocket. its 9mm thick so its not the thinnest but is thin enough not to be notised.

I don't know about all the models, but the c60 massad ayoob is quite thin, as is the SS ATR. In general, all the metal handled spydies are really thin, signifigantly thinner than the frn models, linered or otherwise.

That being said, the frn models arent too thick (cept for the native.)

my lava is awful thin. Certainly thinner than my endura or delica. Also quite a bit thinner than my ti salsa.

The Centofante knives are very slim handled and practically disappear in my pocket. The ATR is very slim for a knife of its size.

The Cricket and Spin are thin. So is the Ladybug. But they are small knives themselves.
The Adventura and Lava are 7.5 mm thick (that's less than a cigarette). ;)
The SS Endura, Delica and Police are just a wee bit thicker.

What size blade do you want?
Small - Cricket or the Spin. I own both but prefer the cricket.
Medium - Lava or Adventura.
Full size - Stretch or Stretch II. I own the original, it disappears in your pocket.

All of the above, but right now I am looking for a thin knife with a long blade 4 inches or shorter. I prefer a flat ground, fully serrated blade.

Guessing from memory, the R2 is about as thick as the Endura4....
Other options: if you can find one, the discontinued Calypso (C54) or a d/c'd Micarta Calypso Jr. with SE

Stretch or Stretch II. They are great slicing knives. The Stretch II might be to expensive, but it is worth doing a little bit of reading up on it. I plan to get one after the holidays (I love the original Stretch).

If you want a 4 inch blade, go with a SS police model. I own one, but I live in Colorado (blade length is too long... illegal to carry). However, it is also thin and a great knife.
