If it was up to me (which, admittedly, it isn't), the rescue knives would be waved. I mean, nobody needs to get their knives out quicker than those for whom the rescue knives were designed.

Only plans at this time is for: P'kal, Rescue, Endura4/Delica4 trainers.

Emerson knives has agreed to these models.

The Para and Military seem like obvious choices. The para especially, since it sounds like you're redesigning it right now anyway...

Maybe yojimbo?

All of them plz. Lol not really, I think the assist REALLY needs it though. Its been deacked out in just about every other emergency situation, just needs a wave and perhaps G10 with steel liners. I would also like to see a few others, it can be applied to just about any of them. the assist and Civvie REALLY need one though because thier purpose warrants quickly drawing the knife.

Sal is this true? The Delica and E4 trainers will be waved?

Hey AM, I fear the Yojimbo is going the way of the Dodo. :(

Well, the Yojimbo is a pretty neat knife, but it's such a close spiritual relative to the Benchmade Gravitator that I don't think its absence will leave a big gap in my wharncliffe market. I wish we could have a hybrid of the two, honestly. The scales and style of the gravi, the size and compression lock (and spyderhole) of the yoji.

Will any of the Waved Endura/Delica's have full serrations? I hope so, that would pull the trigger for me to buy one of each.

Gentlemen, I found the Manix to be easily home waved with a Dremel. Its leaf-shaped blade allows plenty of room for the cut. An effective wave can be made without cutting into the thumbhole. The blade profile is changed considerably, but the overall size, especially the thickness of the blade, is still quite big and sturdy.

As for the Police model, first you must have it drilled and tapped for tip-up carry. Mine had its clip position changed by Chase Axin. I then sent it to our fellow forum member STR, who did a superb and fast job of waving it. As with the Manix, the original pattern of the blade is lost, but it leaves a blade shaped much like the "stilletoes" (sp?) and switchblades of yore. VERY impressive when whipped from the pocket, especially in a Pikal grip.

I met a guy on Sunday who is a security guard in Prague. He carries a Military and recently got into a situation in the line of duty where he had to use the knife on a thug (put the guy in the hospital and is now facing a court date over the incident, he says). Apparently the thug and three friends were going at this guy with collapsible batons. ANYWAY, the security guard guy said that in the fray, he nearly dropped his Military as he was trying to take it out. Luckily, he was able to hold on to it, though. .......

When I explained this new Wave feature to him, he was REALLY excited. Then, when I told him it's only on the Endura and Delica, not on the Military, he was a little bummed. Said he'd DEFINITELY buy a Waved Military, no matter the cost. He may still buy a Waved Endura (I told him to look on youtube.com to see it in action) though.

Guys unless I'm mistaken both the military and the police are drilled and tapped for tip down carry only. The wave wouldn't work in its current configuration would it?

I just had STR do up a military for tip up carry so now it is just like my EDC Endura and I am very pleased. Tip up is the best for my muscle memory. It has been about 14 years with an Endura. Now if they are going to make the police and military tip up sign me up.

Off topic, but yes that does sound very appealing.
