which stone for microbevels

You can use any. Depends on the edge you want. Coarse will be a little toothy. I would use the same stone as the back bevel. Why change? You are just increasing the angle for strength to the edge from a acute angle.

Since the apex of the microbevel is always going to provide the first-contact 'bite' in the edge, use whichever stone tunes that 'bite' to your liking. Obviously, it requires some time to experiment, but enjoy that process anyway; an awful lot can be learned by it. That's the beauty of a microbevel, in that you can quickly fix or change that bite without having to re-bevel the whole thing to a different grit. If or when you find the 'bite' that pleases you, that might be the time to re-do the whole edge, if you wish to. But you still don't have to. ;)
