I can't decide between these 3 szabo's:

Cat claw
Kerambit
Filipino box cutter

They are all similar (very different prices) and I think I would be pleased with any of them... but what's your opinion?

Who owns any of these 3?

BTW... is there a cheaper place to get Szabo knives besides www.SzaboInc.com or is that the only place to order?

Thanks in advance

If you want to go "discrete", go with the "box cutter". It can be used to cut boxes too

If you don't mind carying something that will be considered agressive by most LEO, go with the kerambit, I think it's a great weapon too, and it looks great. The cat claw is kinda cool (I think it's virtually undetectable) but I prefer steel. Hope it helps.

Hey TOTC- You should also look into the Keruuk. It seems to be a larger version of the Kerambit, I say "seems" because I havent actually handled one yet but I've seen pictures and I just ordered one from Laci.

Also, Bladeart always has a nice selection of Laci's stuff on their website and the guy Larry is a real nice guy.

Actually, I 've got all 3. It depends on what your want or need is. For everyday self defense the cat claw or box cutter would be the least obvious of weapons. The kerambit is great for fighting, but harder to conceal.

On the other hand, with the exception of last week, every time I see Laci he has a Kerambit (in a leather sheath) on his fanny pack.

As far as getting them cheaper, I doubt that you'll find anyone selling them for much less. Most of what is sold comes directly from Laci.

Where can I see the Keruuk? I can't find it on www.SzaboInc.com
When you get it I would appreciate any feedback you have on it!
