Want horizontal mount for my belt, while fishing. Would a large or mini tek lock work best? KABAR 5350

My large tek lock has nine holes. Extreme hole spread, horizontal or vertical, is 1.5 inches. Diagonal hole spread is 2.125 inches.

I was going thru the kabar 2021 cat, found the 9916 belt kit for horizontal mounting. Anybody have opinions? Does cost more than a pair of teklocks.

I suggest to buy a piece of 10oz leather and a punch and use instead.
