I need some cash asap and sadly I must part with one of my knives :(
I have narrowed it down to two. My PM2 which is in perfect condition plus a titanium pocket clip, and then a ZT 0560 which I just got in the mail today haha
I am a huge fan of the PM2 and I would be sad selling it, but selling the ZT seems like too much because I only need 100 dollars. ( of course I wouldnt sell the ZT for that little of an amount) I am stuck. Should I sell the knife I already love and keep the one valued more which also is considered to be a fantastic knife. Or sell the ZT and keep a knife that I already love and trust will do well for my needs.
I know this is tough, but any suggestions are appreciated. I much rather not sell either and try another way to get the cash, but if it comes down to it Ill have to make a choice :(
Thanks for the help guys!

If this is in the wrong area mods please move me, Thanks! :)

Dump the ZT and do a trade + cash. I'd keep the PM 2 personally. Trade for a lower priced BNIB knife, or a higher priced user and then have the other party add cash to even out the deal.

Keep the ZT. Toss the PM 2 away.

Reasoning? Because someone beat me to recommending to keep the PM2.

edit: on a serious note I'd keep the ZT 560.

Ditch the ZT, they're a dime a dozen and always easy to get. The PM2 sounds like it works for you, why mess with that?

The PM2 works great for me. But I have never had a knife like the ZT ( like titanium and higher end) so thats why Im debating still.
But I am leaning towards dumping the ZT.

What knives do you think I could do a trade and come out with $100 still? ( the 0560 is LN but doesnt have a box)

I'd personally dump the ZT0560 and later get the 0562CF. The 560 is too much for my needs which is also why I'm trying to sell mine locally. The PM2 is as far as I know still in such demand that they may be hard to come by for a while. Both are great knives though. Good luck!

Dump the ZT, get the $100 you need and use the extra to get a 566!

Mow some lawns or something and keep them both. A hundred bucks shouldn't take long to earn if you find some small jobs.

This. Try to get the 100$ elsewhere, because you're going to lose money selling either one.
And please don't take this the wrong way, but if 100$ are that big of a problem, maybe you should rethink your priorities.

there are a lot of titanium frame lock options and they're not that expensive. After having so many, they're just knives.

If you dump the ZT, you can just put back the extra money for a future purchase.

Keep the knife that speaks to you. From the sound of things, the PM2 is speaking to you. When a knife is speaking to you and it feels right, then you can't put a physical value on it.

Try this:

Go into a room and put both knives on a desk in front of you. Pick each one up in turn. Handle them. Open them. Close them. Put them in your pocket and pull them out. Hold them in different grips, alternating back and forth... then sell the ZT.

You will regret it if you sell the Spydie, won't you? Ask yourself. Will you miss it? Of course you will. You can never replace a knife that has history with *you*. You can always replace a knife you just got yesterday.

Masterful use of punctuation and humorous candor...thank you.
