Can anybody help me on this one? I' torn between which blade shape to get, the leaf or the "stretch". Do both have jimping on the finger choil? Do you find any particular advantages on either model?

Im pretty sure only the drop point "stretch looking blade" has jimping on the finger choil.
I dont think you can really go wrong here, the DP model does have a little more belly to it than the leaf, and is slimmer when closed.

As I posted over on the other forum...

The ramps and choils are jimped on both version. Being a certified Stretch nut, I'd go for the drop point version of the UKPK. Primary advantage of a narrow blade is that it makes curved cuts in thick material easier, as an example, carving a pumpkin for Halloween. I prefer its relatively larger proportion of straight to curved blade as well. I also think it looks a bit more "NKP friendly", but that's a really subjective call.

If they made the drop-point in orange or Dodo-blue G10, I'd be all over one... ! The blade shape is beautiful.

Thanks for the advice guys. Pulled the trigger on the FG "stretched" version. Going to the UK in a couple of weeks, this might be the start of a good friendship!
