Who are some of the "celebrities" that might post on this board? I understand that A.Jolie might have been here some times and of course we have all of the knife communities "celebs" ie Ken Onion etc but who else? I had hoped that Alton Brown might have been here a bit. I would like to think that any could person could post here and be treated with common courtesy regardless of his/her status and would feel comfortable doing so.

I don't know, but I can guarantee that Angelina Jolie would be able to spell her name correctly.

ehh? Was using just her first initial somehow wrong or offensive to you? Or is there a prior thread that I am unaware of?

No, he's referring to the fact that she spells it "Angilena" here. And her father, "John" Voight is also sometimes seen in Whine & Cheese, apparently he can't spell his own name either! :D

BTW, I am actually Tor Johnson, the famous 400 lb Swedish horror movie actor and wrestler. I misspelled my name when I was registering and I just decided to live with it. Do I count as a celebrity?

They certainly can if they don't use their own names on the net....

Dijos was referring to a member whose username is a variant spelling. In spite of that spelling, some people think that member really is Angelina Jolie.

I would imagine that if there were any celebs here that they would just blend in anyway.

That would probably be best so they don't get bombarded with people trying to befriend them.

To me it really doesn't matter. People are all the same and just because someone is a celeb doesn't make them any better or worse than myself.

I'm the type of person that could meet a celeb and just be like "hey what's up" and move on. I'm not the type that would "perform" to make them like me more.

They're just people too ;)

I would imagine there are several hundred celebrity or famous people that are knife lovers. James Spader is a known knife knut and has probably on occasion checked into one or the other forums. I understand there are several other members of the casts of shows like Stargate SG1 and BattleStar Galatica that are knife lovers also. It only makes sense that they would use the net for information now and then or to read reviews if nothing else.

It doesn't matter to me if there are celebs here or not. We are all knife knuts, and they deserve to be anonymous, and enjoy it here, period. And I hope they really do enjoy it here!! Everyone should be able to enjoy privacy and anonymity.

Will the 'real' Angelina please step forward! I'm considered a celebrity by some. When I come home with a bag of groceries and start cookin', my dog thinks I'm Emeril!

Hey, me too!!!

One of the moderators has pointed out several times that "Sly" Sylvester Stallone is a registered member here.

Well, Boys, I'm famous in a few big cities, like Pecos, Texas; or Coushatta, Louisiana; or Carthage, Texas, or at the ports of entry in Laredo and El Paso. Depends on your definition of famous.

I don't know his web name but I am sure that Steven Dick, the editor of Tactical Knives magazine, comes around once in a while.

Ciao
Ron Cassel
