Hey guys I have a stupid question but here goes:

I'm thinking about picking up a microtech Socom Delta and was just wondering which you think would be easier to resell. A socom delta clip point in Satin or bead blast?

Thanks guys

No just wondering which would be more sought after by everyone

So, in other words, you're buying it just to mark up the price and resell it. Gotcha.

Which is most popular now? That's a good indicator.

It's impossible to predict the future. :)
That said, whichever one you buy for a super-duper closeout price is the one most likely to sell for a profit in the future. :D

Satin no question

Ditto. Satin all the way.

I just bought 3 different Microtechs. All Satin. And I have to say, that finding them wasn't easy. Buying them in Beadblast would have been easier as it certainly "appeared" the Satin finishes were snatched up much faster.

Depends on rarity and current demand. Otherwise satin by far. Bead blast blade surfaces get dirty and corrode much faster than satin finishes, and also can be scratched more easily. I have one bead blasted blade, in ATS34, and I have never been able to get it clean. I won't buy another one that way.

Between these two finishes, satin for sure. I recently bought the same knife in satin, and it is a beauty. Satin vs stonewashed is not such an easy call.
