Which would you choose?

I've got several Beckers but the largest is a first generation BK-2. Thinking I'd like a larger model for a truck knife and or general yard work around the property. So far I'm leaning towards the BK-9 with the BK-7 a close second. Also considered the BK-4 but it seems like it might be a little less versatile then the other two. What do you all think? TIA

My personal choice is the 9, but I'm senile and still slightly drunk so take that into account.

Listen to the Trade...... Even slightly off bubble he is right on about this......

The 9 looks like the better choice. I know my next purchase will be a 9. But I have to wait awhile for that. Just got my 16 yesterday and ordered a 2 last night.

You need a BK9. You can't not have a 9. If you get a BK9 your TV will get better reception and store clerks are more likely to accidentally give you extra change back.

Gotta go with the 9, it's an absolute must have Becker. I have one, and I want another one now!

Well it looks like a BK-9 it will be. Thank you all for the replies. Will post some pics after it arrives from Tomar.

Great choice! And Tomars is a great place to get it from. I've racked up some debt browsing his website.

Just got micarta for my BK2 and BK9 from him. Speedy shipping, accurate orders. Good times.
Btw, my wife (non-knife nut) prefers my BK9 to any of the other large blades I have. She's the smart one in the family. :)

I don't think you'll pass the picket line at the base of the mountain. It is a sweet blade, I've still got one. Though I'd probably choose the BK9 over it.

Muffy got it right.

Who's that transcient interloper? Can't be the Moose.

Not to worry . . . he won't make it past the drone patrol on the access road to the mountain.

Looks like I will be visited by the King on Wednesday. Fast shipping for sure. Better dig out a piece of red carpet to put in front of my mailbox.

You'll have to lock up the wimmins for at least 48 hrs after his arrival. Give him plenty of time to settle in.
