Ok I've bought the
Bk2 companion
Bk15, bk16, bk7 bk 9 bk11necker this covers all I really need eventually I'll get all of them.. but for the time being
I want to go one of two ways' the first get custom sheaths for all of them.. I already have one for the bk2 plus outfit tem all in wood scales.
Or option 2 get a second of each I have and strip the coating off and polish the blades' some reason this appeals to me
The polished ones I'd probably keep well oiled and use...and the coated ones save in the boxes to pass down to my daughters and hopefully grandkids someday.
So between these two strange choices which would you choose.

Get the scales and the sheathes , use the knives , take care of them , and pass them down to your kin with a bit of history and some very cool stories attached :)

^What he said^

I almost never keep knives that I don't use. That being said, I need to get out more and use a couple of new knives before they go to the exchange.

I'll probably go with the sheaths and wood when I can control buyiny the beckers for a bit.
Just got off another bk17 for less then $70.00 shipped I had no choice but to buy.
My 15 and 16 would be lonely without their mate. So after a week or three for my bankcard to recover The wood should start coming then hopefully soon after Leather sheaths. Unless right as I start searching a great deal on a bk5 or 10 comes along.

send them to me, and maybe later, i'll pass them back :D

course, what *I* would do is collect literature and other related items, to save with the main treasures, so there is history, and context :D

If you use the knives, they'll come your experiences, stories, and adventures. If you just leave them new, they'll just be knives.

option 1 because you will enjoy custom more. A secondly you can pass them down. Or they may chose to buy better knives even though you bought a set for them. it mean more if it is your personal knife.
