Hey guys, im looking at buying myself something for once. Less than custom cuz its gonna get put through its paces. Ive narrowed it down to a few knives i have never owned. Im getting one of the following some time in the next few weeks. So help me choose. I know plenty about the knives, just wondering from your own experience. Please point out any flaws that the knives have. (besides the omega springs;)).. Thnks.
Matt

Benchmade- 14205- Lrg. HK model with the g-10-axis lock-154cm- I already know this thing rocks , as i owned its older brother with the bolsters...
Blade Tech- Rijbak-Titanium framelock, g-10 slabs-s30v
Alias 1- Titanium framelock - s30v?
Combat elite- RRF or Level 1- both titanium framelocks----

This knife will be used daily- From fruit- Cutting wood-plastic straps- and occasionally prying, chopping n such. On average it will me used at a medium level.

I wouldn't suggest prying with any knife if you can help it. I carry a Bradley Alias II and I am very happy with it.

That new blade-tech seems to be a burly well made knife, i have never handled one but my guess its the toughest of the bunch. Well i know nothing about combat elite and didnt look it up so my opinion only applies to the other three

Im getting a 14205 asap. Unless im talked out of it, but since the 14210, was my favorite BM ... I guess i cant go wronge....

The 14205 is somewhat heavy. I consider any folder heavier than the 710 to be too heavy for my carry option. I'd go with the Alias.:)

If you can holdout, get the Benchmade 930 Kulgera. Little longer blade, better steal. S30v.
Or the Spyderco Mili will be out in zdp any day now.

The Alias would be my best advice; it doesn't have the same F&F as the Sebenza, nor as much ergonomic integrity, but (and I hate to admit this) they did get pretty much everything else right.

Thnks guys for the input.... This will probably be my only knife for a while and i want to make sure its right.
any more input would still be great ... So far they are all well rounded knives........ Ive never owned a mili... But the thin blade and fine point will not work for the chores it will do... Im thinking about giving up on the rijbak as it seems the design is not refined as of yet...
Thnks
Matt
