They are both capable little knives but I like the looks of the Mouse much better, and I think the lockback style is easier to handle.

I can get a Japan made w/frn handle Mouse for $30.00 with the 440C blade and thesame for $75.00 with the S30V blade and G10 handle.Is the price difference worth it? Please help! Tahnks.

As I am a HUGE S30V fan, I would buy the S30V and G-10 in a heart beat!! It IS worth it to me!!

Danny, if you want the knife for a very capable light user, you would hardly be able to tell the difference between the two. 440C is a good steel in its own right. The advantage of S30V and G-10 in this case would be in your mind -- or in the mind of a collector looking to buy it from you.
