So this BK2 is the first Becker I purchased. It wasn't long after I had it in hand that it got stripped. I didn't sand it and instead had it bead blasted. I then did a vinegar patina, which turned out really well.
I have to credit the bead blasting for the way the finish turned out and I highly suggest anyone that wants to do a patina of any type bead blast first. The blasting almost completely got rid of the tool marks, with the exception of some on the spine and around the non-sharpened edges.
Ok, ok pics...here you go:
As you can see it has been used since the patina was completed.
Also, the scales are new. If you saw my BK9 fighter thread I mentioned how I had some scales on order. Well, I decided that I'm ordering some G10 to do some custom scales for that project and went ahead and put these micarta scales from Tomar's on the BK2.
And of course I couldn't leave well enough alone and so I sanded the scales down a bit, which brought out the brown color I was hoping for.
Any questions just ask...

ETA: Oh, and sorry for the pics...I try and take better pics usually...these turned out a little blurry.
