Like many of you, I have been really looking forward to picking up a Rodent War Hawk. While waiting for this to go on sale, I have acquired a few other hawks. The cool part is, all of these came courtesy of some pretty awesome HOGs! Thanks again guys!:thumbup:

This is an Urban Spike Hawk made by John Kiedaisch of JK knives. He is an old-school HOG and was inducted in 2005 as "Trough Stomper."

Next up is a Swamp Rat Crash Axe. I missed out on these every time they came up for sale, so I felt lucky to get this one.

This Winkler WK II Combat Axe came from a trade with an Active Duty HOG (Return safe bro!).

This RMJ is called the ERP Kestrel and is one of five prototypes made in 2007 at the request of a Marine group. An awesome brother AK HOG turned me onto this beauty.

This RMJ Kestrel is made even more special because it came from a retired Marine and his name and the Eagle, Globe and Anchor emblem are engraved on it.

This a hard to find RMJ Loggerhead shrike.

And finally, a place holder for a War Hawk. ;)

If you dig hawks too, post some photos of your favorites!

i just got a car we could chop up.
very nice pic's, i like the jk, and winkler. those seem like they feel nice in hand.

Those are some sexy hawks

But, you're missing the RMJ Shrike that they made for Spikes Tactical

And a talon ;)

RMJ Tactical rules :D

But......The Warhawk is going to be freaking awesome.

Awesome hawks. I also have a Combat Axe on the way!

You should check out Omnivore Bladeworks as well... he makes some mean stuff.

The Winkler WK II Combat Axe is HOT bro! Really liking the entire lot
Oh and that AA is fricken maddness! Great taste all around.

JK's has great lines, and that Winkler is BA bro! My Kestrel should be on its way here within the month :)

Side note... weird how the handles on the BJ and DSF are both tan micarta but so different in color. Probably just from being handled...

That Winkler looks to be very capable as a tool as well as a weapon .... one of the nicest "blends" of those functions I have seen:thumbup:

It looks like it would be very comfortable in hand ...

If you have a comparable sized Grans Fors Brux I would love to see a review of the Winkler and the GFB doing "axe" work ...

I have RMJs which are awesome, loved my crash axe, but this is my HAWK:)

There is a video on Winkler's own site that shows the tools in use. The axe is seen at 3:30, chopping a wood post.

Many thanks for the link  His Combat Axe looks a winner ... but his Breaching Axe just steels the show!!

One of the best thought through designs I have ever seen ....

I went back and checked his "awards" out ... not suprised it won the most innovative design at Blade in 09.

That guy needs some legal advise about "licensing" that design ... one of those should be on every Fireman's belt "worldwide" ...
