While we're on flashlights, how about a good AAA light?

I have a Fenix E01 on my keychain, but I was thinking of something a little more powerful I can carry in my pocket. Suggestions?

4Sevens Preon. Single is 84 lumens, double AAA is 192 lumens. Run about $35 and $45 respectively. 192 lumens from a AAA light is big-time.

5.11 makes a 90 lumen double AAA that is instant-on, meaning one button push, one light level. The Preons are three-levels of brightness.

I have a Fenix E11 and a Streamlight Stylus Pro, both of which have worked great for me, but then again, I don't rely on them too often.

Peak LED Solutions Eiger--takes all forms of AAA including lithium rechargeables. Several options on heads, tints, etc.

Or

McGizmo Saphire--not that bright, but oh so lovely!

I got a 4seven preon P2.... It's light, easy to carry, and with different brightness settings it works great for me. It has some nice features and won't break the bank. If nothing else it's a fun little 2xAAA light that's well crafted and looks good.

The LD02 looks kinda cool. But to be honest, I'm really liking my E05, I've beaten the ever living crap out of it, and its going strong. I've also been using my HL10 quite a lot, and its good too, either on the headband or even by itself. Although the long-hold power switch is a bit odd.

I've had a (second hand) E05 on my keys for the longest time and it's quite good.
So good, in fact, that I have since bought one for my father and another one for the mrs. Simple interface, good anodising, perfect output/drain for a small light and pretty (when in blue or purple). My father loves it especially, with age his eyes have deteriorated slightly and the low output of 27 lumens is apparently just what he needs in gloomy settings.

Personally, I find it wears just perfectly.

Nice paracord wrap on those sheaths

ThruNite Ti2 at 3 lumens low, and 81lumens high; and at $10.95 each, they're a steal.

The PowerTac, which is identical to the ThruNite (made in the same factory) comes in at 3 flavors, 90 lumen, 130 lumen, and 140 lumens, and is sold for $22.50....

Streamlight Micorstream. Awesome little light. Momentary and continuous-on functions. I use Lithium AAAs(uses 1) in it.

The clip works both directions so it rocks for placing it on the bill of a baseball cap.
