While we're talking Zowada...

I have to share this Zowada utility knife. It's about 8" of L6 with a convex grind that holds a mean edge for a long time. I've had it for a long time but just recently spent some time taking photos. It's my first choice in the bush...

What a beauty. What is the guard and pin made from?

The guard is mokume - I believe Tim made it but I don't know the exact composition. I know that he generally makes his own. I don't know about the pin but I would guess brass. I'll try to find out from Tim. I didn't get it from him directly.

According to Tim the guard is brass and copper mokume and the pin is brass. For those of you who haven't dealt with Tim, he is great with communication. I just wish I could get on his list! Maybe in a few years... I'll keep trying...
