whimsical knife

This is something that I made up just for fun. I bought some armadillo scales at the Blade show but had no real purpose in mind for them. I just kind of played with this one when I had a minute here and there.

I backed the armadillo scales with micarta and used micarta rod for pins. The blade is D2 that has been etched in a ferric chloride solution. The sheath was just for fun.

It's a bit silly but hopefully it will make a few people smile.

Yep, gave me a smile too. Actually it looks like an interesting knife and probably quite useful too apart from it's smile inducing qualities.
