Whine and Cheese posts

Is it me or have there been a bunch of whining posts that belong in the Whine and Chees forum about things like:

- XXX blade originally cost $XXX and so and so charging too much.
- I think I got my post in first, therefore you should sell to me.
- Etc.

So many people have chimed in, but when it all comes down to it if you want a blade either pay what is being asked for or don't, other wise keep your oral projection device closed and keyboard whining to yourself.

Regarding who gets posts in first, yes it would be nice in a perfect world but things happen. People will usually place multiple posts on multiple forums to get the widest viewing of their blades for sale or trade. Emails or PM may or may not reach the seller in a timely manner. Sometimes they will sell it here or somewhere else. Bottom line, it is the seller's prerogative who they sell to and where they want they sell it. If you really want a particular knife then you can either look for another, or make an offer the seller can't refuse. Again it is their decision what they want to do with their knife.

If we would all live by the motto "NO REGRETS" then these recent issues should solve themselves.

Sounds like a bunch of whinning from a guy that can't seem to get anyone to sell/trade him a SHBM. :p

Actually, if you send over some of your SHSHs then I'm sure that I could make SHBM out of them.... :D

as far as the whining goes ..........................

I dont like the gouging any more than anyone else does, but as is anything else, it will pass. Theres already some movement towards lowering the prices back to normal, we've just got to be patient, and patience is what a HOG is eh? We wait, we brood, we RUSH!!!! He who is trampled, is TOO SLOW! :o And ya! I've been trampled many times, and I've got the hoof marks to prove it! Just ask at Blade '07! :D
 
If I ever decide to sell a Busse knife, it will be priced at or above the amount I personally value it, because by definition, below that price I would keep it. No buyers, no problem. Start out at the price you would really like to get, and over days lower it to the lowest price you will take, and then back to the safe. Somewhere in the middle both you and a buyer will be happy, and who else's happiness matters in such a transaction?

And if I ever decide to sell a Busse knife, it will go to the definite "I'll take it" with the earliest time stamp, and my for sale post will so state.

Little things in life aren't all that complicated, unless we make them so.:)
 
you mean I can't bitch about skunk not putting the new GW's at the company store until 11ish last night, I was alseep. Missed out

Or the site not being up yet? Oh it will come up soon, just as soon as I log off Thrus early evening because I am out on vacation.

Oh well if I can't bitch about those two things guess what...

I guess I will just have to get a life. Maybe some of those others will as well.

Exactly. Sellers will be doing themselves a favor if they specify a single form of contact as having priority.
 
Check the # of post these infants have...usually below 50......they are the ones who get to the party late and miss all the beer then whine about it. They just need to learn to play the game and stop trying to make their own rules.
