Is there any way to tighten it up a little so the blade doesn't open on its own? I realize that the pivot system used is sealed but curious if there is any adjustment room or not. Thanks,

Anyone know if these can be "slowed down" when opening? I tried to contact Brad via email and phone but haven't heard anything. I don't want to just send it in without actually speaking with him first, as it also locks up so tight I have to use 2 hands to snap the lockbar out. It should ease up with wear but that may take longer than my thumbs can handle...

Due to its custom nature, I'd think sending it in would be the ideal option.

Doesn't it utilize a ball detent to keep it closed?

Yes it does have a ball detent. That holds it closed for a VERY light shake of the wrist but anything stronger will shoot it out very fast. This happens whether the blade is facing up or down or either side. When the blade does fall it falls past the 90 degree point when facing down, resulting in a very light shake to engage. I used to like them this loose until I got reprimanded by a LEO that it was considered a gravity knife as it took virtually no strength for it to lock. When it does lock, it's a bear to get closed, definitely can't do it one-handed when the tab rides midway under the tang. Otherwise love it though.

Yeah, nothing like having a LEO put in two cents to expedite repair/change options.

I'm still thinking a return to address the issues would be best.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in.

I want to return it but have not heard back from Brad. I'll send it in once we've established dialogue.
