This is I think the most beautiful piece of maple burl that I've ever seen. This is also my first montage of pics, albeit not great pics but my first non the less.

Yowsa!! That is *one* sweet chunk of wood and your design, craftsmanship and execution are equal to what Mother Nature contributed as well!

Coop - you actually were the one that sort of inspired me to try something like this. Although no where near as nice as your photos, I could see that what you were doing was definitely something I needed to start working on to better present my knives.
