Whistle cord end?

Hey folks. Just finished wrapping my Izula. Its SO much more comfortable with the orange 550 cord on it. I should have done this a while ago. Anyway I was wondering if someone could post a pic of how to fasten the whistle cord end to the green cord that came with my kit. I'm planning on wrapping it around the sheath (with the kit mag/steel underneath) and using the whistle to hold it in place but I'm not sure how the end works.

Also, anyone know where to get a decent black ball chain for around my neck? Would Lowes or Home Depot have it? Thanks!

You could check the ceiling fan sections of both of those stores. It's possible they would have black. Another option would be to gut some black paracord, then work the outside part over whatever color ball chain you have. When you are done, melt the ends of the paracord with a lighter.

popedandy thats a great idea. The paracord skin would make it more comfortable I'm sure. Hopefully I can stop by the store tomorrow and pick up some ball chain. Thanks for the advice!

I didn't make it there today but hopefully tomorrow. I'll put some pics up when I get it all done.

I have found that it works really well that when you gut the paracord, leave one strand in it. Then, tie the ball chain to the inner strand, then just pull it through. I tried to work it through, but no dice.

Thats probably the best advice yet, Tripton. I never would have thought of that and probably would have been battling it all night. Thanks bro.
