*** Thread Summary
*** 124BC White Corian /MP blade /1990 /250 /USA market
*** 124 White Paper Micarta /MP blade /1990 /250 /German Importer Herbertz
I would like to get this straight once and for all.
Reviewing old threads going back over a decade did not help.
About 1990 there were 2 different runs of white 124's. One run of 250 was white Corian with polished blades. the other run of 250 was a white paper Micarta.
Do I have this correct so far?
The Corian handles are easy to tell, very bright solid polished surface. The color was called bone and the model code was 124BC.
White paper Micarta is not as bright and tends to have micro fissures if looked at closely. (they are 30 years old now)
Which one was exported to Europe, the Corian or Micarta?
Was the export to a specific country say UK or Germany? ... or to Europe in general.
My thinking is that the Corian was domestic and the white Micarta exported.
Haebbie? I think we communicated on this long ago but either can't find it or have a bad memory.
