White delrin vs. fake stag????????

How to remove brown coating from white delrin slabs?

Does anyone know any gentle method to remove the brown coating from the white delrin slabs of my Schrade Wolverine? The brown coating gives a stag-like appearance, however, the plain yellowish delrin would be more aesthetic to me. Is there any mild solvent or abrasive that could be used without ruining the scales?

Any input is appreciated.

Since I have no machinery at home (neither at my workplace), I have to stick to simple methods.
Therefore, any method that requires "post-operation rehab" is out of question.
