White film on ASEK and Freedom Fighter Handles

Hello!

My ASEK and Freedom Fighter both arrived new in box - from an authorized dealer - with a white film on the handles. Does anyone know what I can use to clean that off?

congrats on the new goods.
i've seen nib merchandise with
white stuff stains on the kraton too.
the occurance of which is not brand specific.
if you can live with slight imperfections,
sometimes doing nothing is best.
at this point, i would suggest foaming up
some dish wasing soap and lightly scrub
the affected areas with a worn tooh brush.
i wouldn't advise any sorta of chemical
creams or petroleum based fluids
on the account of unknown reactions
that could make matters worst.
apparently, there are a few grades of kraton.
in general terms, there have been a few horror stories over the years about how
the material can leach while others
may even harden over time.
deterioration could be as the result of wrong
storage conditions (especially enclosed) or
getting triggered by some form of chemical
reaction in relation to proximity.
absolutely stay clear of deet !
