white handled rescue?? or was i dreaming??

Just something thats buged me for a long time now!,many years ago...I think in 1994 or 1995 when I was just getting in too Spydercos,I could have sworn I saw a white handled Rescue at a flea market I bought most of mine from back in the day.And I also thought it was straight edge??? My brother who also went with me thinks he saw it too.So was I dreaming that day or did I pass up a great find?

Yes, Spyderco made white Zytel handled Rescues. I don't know how many, but they were quickly discontinued.. Sales were slow and they quickly became dirty looking. I believe the combination of those two factors caused their demise.

They also made yellow handled Rescues.

Thanx, John. Actually we maded about 500 white Rescues for the Candian Fire Depts (their request). It was a one shot deal.

I wish I could find a white handle Rescue. I remember Sal saying something about them awhile back. I recently picked up a green handle Rescue at a knife show.
