White honing compound

What is the white honing compound used on the paper wheel knife sharpener. Is it a special compound or can I use any basic polishing compound. I do have some sticks of chromium oxide I use on my strops,.... can I use it on the wheel ????

From what I understand it is specifically made for them. Normal white compound is a much finer grit than theirs and may not work as well deburring or polishing those 200 grit scratches
