Previously I ran a thread about White Lighting Lube, and how wonderful this stuff seemed to be. Now I'm noticing that some of my liner locks lubed with this stuff are starting to slip the locks.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?

The stuff still works great on the lock backs, and axis locks, I'm just wondering about the liner locks because of the design and fit of the lock to the blade tang.

ditto.

I love WL, but I also love lockbacks and hate linerlocks. It forms a thin wax-like coating, but it runs thin and is impossible to get in the pivot w/o getting it on the tang. Can prove dangerous to a linerlock engaging. On a lockback - no problem.

I had an AlMar SERE2000 folder that would fail the lock every time I lubed it. The tang and lock bar were so polished that the TuffGlide would get on the tang and the lock would slide over under minimal pressure. If i took a Q-tip with nail polish remover to the tang and top of teh linerlock where it made contact the lock would be rock solid. This is now standard practice for me every time I lube my knives no matter what I use.

Tried the nail polish remover trick I think that's the ticket.:)
