For an axis lock folder....Just wondering if anyone has used it before.. I used it on my BM 551 grip for about 1 year , and it worked OK...It comes in a squeeze tube, so the only way to apply it was to take the knife apart and glob it onto the axis springs and washers.. It did fine i guess, and after a few months most of the grease was still there... Does any one think it could be harmful.... or make the action of the knife worse over time... It worked ok for me.. but i'm debating on ordering some militec-1,(only if i have to)
Thanks
Matt

I used it to glop up the speed-safe spring on a kershaw, so it wouldn't rattle (they do that sometimes). But it's pretty stinky stuff, and the guy at the hardware store warned me it would ruin clothes if it got on them (perma-stink). It's meant as for when you need a gloppy, hi-volume lube that will coat and stay put & not melt in heat or evaporate. But those aren't real concerns for a knife pivot. There are pleaty of other lubes, like Mil-tec or Tri-flow that are less messy and more fluid (but you still don't want them on your clothes).

Thanks for the advice.... I also have 3in1 but that stuff is pretty oily... ya know... I searched all around town this morning and no one carries militic, tuff glide, or anything at all.. what the heck man..... What do you all think about 3in1... I for one think its too thin... and just seems to drip off for the most part.. i may be wrong, but?

You could go to a farm equipment shop and get some "never seize". Usually it is a suspension of molybdenum disulfide in oil. I believe it bonds to the metal on the molecular level and should last longer than most lubricants. I never put any metal thing together without using it. You only need a tiny amount. A can is a lifetime supply. You can also search ebay for anti seize.
