I'm looking for a block of ivory paperbase micarta. Does anyone have a piece they are willing to sell? Thanks.
Tom

Tom,you might check with Jerry Hossom,I remember a post he made a few weeks ago,in which he stated that he had some of the old good stuff, the kind that yellows w/age.He was willing to sell it then.

I am working on a knife right now with it :) Works nice, doesn't stink as much as the linen and canvas micarta, but it gets dirty easily. a 600 grit finish is nice and smooooooooth. Sheffields, Texas knifemakers Supply and Kovals and Jantz should have what you are looking for.

I have some of the older stuff that looks like aged ivory. I have tried all the usual suppliers and if their not out of it, they don't carry it anymore. I think I'm going to glue up some white corian and go from there. Thanks for the replies.
