Hubba hubba.

I like the look of white paper (I think that it is paper but I'm not certain) Micarta. Yes I do. :)

Reminds me of Ivory but without the shrinkage, cracking, yellowing and legal issues. Robust handle material with royal rich good looks enhances just about any knife in my humble opinion. You wouldn't find me complaining is Buck used white or near-white (Ivory, for example) paper Micarta on more knives. Particularly on ones a common pedestrian like me could consume.

BTW sitflyer, DT hasn't gotten back to me on the Damascus source. I haven't forgotten you but email mail not be on his to-do list.

Wow. That is a gorgeous Paradigm. I love the blackened bolsters and Damascus blade contrasted with the white Micarta. That etched Buck logo in the Micarta is also very cool.

I would be interested if it came with an s30v blade and cost a little less. :)

The Damascus blade looks great on that knife, but I much prefer using s30v.

Yes, it is paper micarta well known by Ivory micarta. You can do many things with it and yellow it if desired. Thats the material my wife uses in much of her scrimshaw. The memorial plaque she did for Plumber's award winning dog Zuey, posted in the 'Gun and Knife Show' topic was done on the same material. DM

Nice find spotting this gem oregon, you are truly a bird dog amongst us Buck hunters:D
I bet this knife looks ten times better as the micarta gets a few years on it and takes on the gradually softening hues that this material generally exhibits.
Side note:
When I return to the States, I will probably email the signer of the COA, and present my thoughts and questions to him.
Thanks for showing this awesome Paradigm to us:thumbup:
