Maybe I missed the reviews in my search, only finding a BST thread, but I'm curious about this knife. Who has one? How does it work for you? The 'heavy' drop point profile (almost Santoku style) looks interesting to me. The ring on the handle is mixed because it looks super easy to attach via carabiner to a pack but, how about actual use with medium sized hands? The ferro rod notch and ferro rod seem superfluous to me in my envisioned uses but, maybe I'm missing something here?

What other blades offer a similar profile and similar value to compare and contrast to this one?

For actual uses, I'm thinking about mundane things like lunch prep, cutting cardboard and tape, feather sticks, etc. Hardcore "Walter Mitty" style adventures aren't likely with this knife, at least for me. :)

TIA,
Sid

Thanks! Any additional thoughts after owning it for ~7 months?

I'm also curious why there isn't more interest from the forum. Like what am I missing with this knife?

I still love the knife! The blade shape, the steel the sheath are all great. My only gripe is the handle, it’s ok it’s just not ideal. If this knife had the handle of the Backpacker Pro it’d be perfect!

Can you tell me what the hole on the end is called technically? Sometimes I go to find knives like this but the best I can come up with is " knife with hole on pommel " lol

This looks like a great knife
