Hi Gents

This knife has been made for a young mans 21st Birthday. The blade is forged from EN43, blade length is 115mm, overall length is 250mm and almost 6mm thick.
The handle is Amboyna burr with black fibre liners. The sheath is double welted and dyed saddle tan.
Thanks for taking the time to look, all feed back very welcome.

All the best

Steve

Love the design and execution, just beautiful. No doubt the gentleman will be more than pleased.

That one caught my eye as well! Great looking knife. I've always liked the looks of a trailing point that wasn't "overdone", and yours is perfect! BTW, I'm interested in I.D.ing that rifle. Action is very unique. What is it?

Thanks for your comments gents. Spot on Brion the rifle is an Enfield, it's an L39 A1 chambered in 7.62mm. These Lee Enfield's were converted when the British Military changed from .303 to Nato 7.62mm. The L39 became the Armies target rifle and the L42 A1 was designated as their sniping rifle. Outwardly mine looks just like the L42, but without the No.32 scope. I apologise if I have waffled on a bit guys.

Cheers

Steve
