Here are a couple of pics of my Whitetail Classic model hunting knife, I was working on this for the Little Rock show but I did not get it finished in time.

This one is a bigger version of a standard Whitetail Classic. The blade is 4 11/16" of forged 1084/15N20 twisted "w" pattern damascus. The fittings are 416 Stainless and maroon linen micarta with a stag handle. The butt of the knife has a 1/2" mosaic pin inlaid into it. The overall length is 9 1/4".

Thanks guys! Here is a pic of the butt of the knife. the stag was a real nice solid piece and the inlay allows me to give a finished look to the end of knife.

Oh, Ok.......I waskinda worried about Keith wanting to see your "butt end" :D j/k very nice, as usual, Craig. Are you testing this summer?

Nice:thumbup:

I often wonder why whitetail antler isn't used more. You make it look sooooooo good with the nice butt pin. Kudos!

Hi,

I appreciate the comments. The handle material on this one is sambar stag. I call it the whitetail classic because a lot of the guys in this area use thsi size of knife on the whitetails we take annually.
