HI I just began whittling and I discovered that I loved it. Now that I have finished a ball in a cage project, I would like to do more projects but I am pretty much out of ideas.

Does anyone know where to find good whittling project ideas.

Thanks,

Take a look in the tradittional sub forum for a recent thread, that mentions several, and mentions a few books that are popular as well! I am still on the chain, after my first ball in a cage!

If the old "Whittling and Woodcarving" by Tangerman is available ,that's where to start .The projects in there will keep you busy for a LONG time !
Ball in a cage is a beginners project. With the similar but advanced skills you can make a ball within a ball within a ball etc. I examined one carved from ivory that had about six balls !!
Keep working at it !
