Sometimes I think about getting something smaller or lighter but man I dig this blade!

All day every day for the past few months now. It's an outstanding knife, and I see no reason to downsize considering how well the 710 carries. Now if you EDC'd a ZT0300 every day, I could see getting tired of the size.

I see you are a fan of Machine Era Co... I have their brass wallet :)

I dont have a 710 at present but I am going to change that when the exclusive from KW drops!

I edc all my large folders (including the 710, 810, and Bedlam). That's why I bought them :)

I have carried my 710 everyday since I got it a couple weeks ago. I really like it, but noticed a few small spots on the D2 blade. I guess I will have to watch it better.

Been carrying one of these pretty much every day for a while. The top and bottom ones have scales from Keyman. He makes great scales.

I rotate my 710 with micarta Keyman scales along with some others. The 710 is so slim, it doesn't feel like a particularly large knife in pocket.

I love my 710 and like carrying it in the woods; but as a very small guy who spends most of his time in urban or suburban environments, it's more knife than I need and a little more uncomfortable to carry than my 940, mini-Grip, etc. I generally prefer something closer to a 3" blade length to carry every day.

I go back and forth on this. The 710 is way more knife than I need in an EDC scenario. Like many others though, I like knowing that the knife in my pocket can handle anything thrown at it. The other reason I dig the 710 is the long handle. My hands are HUGE. But I do go back and forth on whether to EDC it or another.

My primary EDC these day’s is the 810 Contego but I’ve been EDC-ing this Benchmade HK Ascender on and off and using it around the house since around 2009.

The Ascender is a very underrated knife IMO. A big knife (4” blade) that carries small. Nice and slim, barrel spacers standard. A great performer that’s easy to carry.

After not having a 710 in my pocket for a while i'm happy to announce that I have one headed my way. I'm also considering picking up the KW M390 version.
