With about 500 tables at the blade show, I reckon the number of new knives, old knives, special knives and fantasy knives will be more than an eyeful.

And then there are the knifemakers. I guess everybody will know or want to get to know the famous ones, or the big names. Personally, I am more curious about the up-and-coming ones.

Who may some of these names be? These are the ones who maybe described as diamonds in the rough. Perhaps we can get to know them before their delivery time stretches from three weeks to three years! :)

man i'd love to be there just to browse the tables, i intend on making the trip in 2005 probly. there are a few smiths in mind but i'm still unsure on whether they'll be there or not (john lundemo wont be there but his knives and swords for that matter are brilliant). but i'm sure looking through they'll be a few new smiths, i hope someone on here takes a few good photos of the event (teasers :p).

Damm! I wish I was going...:(

I'd have to add Walter Brend to Veritas's list. According to the exhibitor list he's going to be there.

I'd also look for Rick Hinderer, I know he's been working hard at getting some knives ready for Blade and his work is getting more and more recognition.

And you can't forget Kit Carson's table out on the loading dock :D
