So--and correct me if I'm wrong--Busse Combat is a knife company that makes knives one model at a time, producing individual knives (with a menu of small variations on the current model) to customer order and producing runs of knives for certain entities like the Company Store or military units, etc. A specific model is never revisited, though the underlying design may be revisited in the form of sibling models (with prefixes such as Nuclear Meltdown or postfixes such as Special Edition). A model which is no longer in production at Busse Combat may be available at the Busse Company Store if a run was delivered there, or may be available from various vendors at conventions and shows, but otherwise must be acquired from the secondary market, such as the Exchange on this forum.
If all of that's correct, then permit me to ask an additional question:
Who are the people of Busse knives? There seems to be a cast of recurring characters, referred to by name or forum handle, surrounding Jerry Busse. Would someone like to list them and describe (or better yet, diagram, since I'm a computer scientist by education) their relationship to the man at the top? So far, references to such individuals have left me rather lost.
(As a matter of pure trivia, this will be my second thread on this forum, and I believe that's a personal one-forum record. But you all are just so darned helpful.)
