The recent thread actually introduced me to new youtubers I didn't previously know about...so I'm wondering what/who else is out there. I've searched sebenza knife review and similar terms, but just wanted to be extra thorough in case I've missed some real gems out there. I've also searched this forum for similar posts, but the threads I found are quite dated, so I wanted to make a new thread.

Jdavis, ApostleP, SoloKnifereviews seem to have many of the videos on YouTube. Also a newer guy named Kody J although he doesn't seem to have a lot of videos. There are many who touch on CRKs from time to time but few that make a lot of videos specific to them.

BT Blades
Pyaoliang
Jdavis882
TheApostleP

Bobby (BT Blades) loves his CRKs. Pyaoliang reviews a ton of knives but always has a large 21 Micarta Clip point to compare them to as its his benchmark.

I enjoy seeing amateurs review them as well but the topics discussed can sometimes make my brain bleed.

I'm not sure me and Nutnfancy would agree on politics, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. I would not own a CRK if it wasn't for this video of his. I was only into Spyderco at the time, when I came across his review of the 21. Although at the time I thought the review was kinda silly, I couldn't get that Sebenza out of my head, which led me to the day I first "pulled the trigger" on a CRK. I owe Nutn thanks for that. He's a controversial "love him or hate him" figure, but has a lot of good points, especially when it comes to real-world use of knives, and questions of value. I now own many "Douche Knives" :D

I agree with him on the "Idaho Made" stamp.

Rob at the ApostleP is a big Sebenza fan, You may enjoy Nick Shabazz he has about 3 Sebenza reviews now and another one coming up. He's not a huge fan of the knife but does give some good information.

Cody,

I agree with you. I'm probably not in line with anyone else's politics who do youtube reviews on knives but Nutnfancy is how I get into knife reviews in general. Although I disagree with a lot of his points his videos are always entertaining to me. I also prefer a "table top" video vs seeing someone in the actual video.

Cool that we have the same "origin story".

Not really a "knife review", but you gotta love the various "Russian hard use" type vids on YT. Our good friends in the East sure know how to beat the snot outta stuff. I particularly like this vid with the CRK Umnumzaan, complete with some real-world spine-whacks (not those fake/rigged CS tests where they squeeze the slabs together with a torque wrench and bend the lockbar outta spec....just sayin::rolleyes: ).

If you ever have to break down pallets with your Umnum, you're all good!

NOTE: unless you speak Russian (I don't), the good part starts at 5:00 minutes

This wood-carving vid with a 21 is also cool, in a way:
