Who beats their straight handled Busses?

How many of you beat the snot out of your mint condition straight handled knives? Or at least your once mint condition knives? Just making sure I'm not the only one who uses them, that would be a shame:D

I've got a Straight Handled BM that is showing some use ;):D however, been using the ZT SH more so the BM has been relegated to watching lately.

I've also got an old Mean Street that has been used heavily, just sent one in to be refurbished but not to worry I've got another user MS. :D:D
 
You mean you don't have users and collectors?
Always buy two of every thing;)

I use my BB SHII's, AfterShock, and a couple of Variants.
Also just got a ZTSH that I might use.

And when my SH BM user decides it's lived in Hawaii long enough I'll beat it again:D
 
By using, does sheath making count? Because I use those things to make the sheaths, display the sheaths,to fill up the sheaths cuz we wouldn't want those little INFI beast runnin' around with no clothes on.Lets start a movement to make sure all Busse knives are clothed, I am sure Eric & I will be willing to help :p Its late & I am tring to be funny:D
 
My Steel Heart II has seen more beatings than a vietnamese circus monkey. It looks worse than Barbra Streisand after a long night of tequila shots and jail-house sex. But she's still my baby and she's more beautiful than any other Busse out there.

FWIW, my "not quite mint" ;) straight handled Busses now rest (grumbling) in my safe. I have newer models that are designated as beaters.
 
Good to hear most of you guys are treating your Busses with respect. I didn't want to have to call Busse services for cruelty to Straight Handles. :D
I only use straight handles, although I don't have many.
SH BM with rivots
SH BM with screws and rounded handles:D
SH SH II with rivots
and if a CG SJ counts it too;)

:D Wulf, ROTFLMAO. I'm gonna steal that circus monkey line. As to Barbara, arguably a night like you describe could only help her. Anyway, my 5/16" INFI BA is going to get beat, a lot. Just got a 5/16" A2 SH that's mint. It will take me a little while, but then I'll treat it like the VCM it is!:D
 
Uhhhhhhmmmmm...1whobuys, your old SH-BM is enjoying life here on Maui. Like some "malahini's" (mainlanders) it got cold feet soon after it arrived, but it has now settled in nicely and LOVES to be taken out back to trim the jungle veg. Now if I could just get that VCM up in the mango tree with it:D
 
You know somthing just ain't right with the Busse crew when the acronym VCM is used and they instantly recognize it as "vietnamese circus monkey"

Just for the record, my VCM of a SHII has even had a little reconstructive surgery (or 'deconstructive' as the case may be), in the form of re-profiled grips and numerous sharpenings. Her mother would hardly recognize her. :D
