The way I see it, many people tried to do alot of things to make their cabins nice. Only one person pushed the ending over the top, and in a way that every single red blooded American man should love. Was that the specific goal? No, but the specific goal was met, and other things were expounded on in a way that made for an incredible overall experience.

Probably wasn't for the quality of construction on any of the cabins.

there in lies the rub. Some built the cabins better, some destroyed them better. There wasnt one stand out that did both better than the rest, so thus a poll

Its not a popularity contest, just an straight forward poll. Hell if it were a popularity contest we would see one very much in the lead. I also cant just do a random drawing, that wouldnt be fair

While blowing it up was pretty cool, I kind of thought people would like the batoning a metal roof, and the table I made. Maybe the metal cutting is Becker abuse.............NAH

for me, cwarenm set the bar with construction quality, but psyop's was pretty comparable and he added furniture -- so that was a tie.
the tannerite was a tie-breaker. a BIG one.
OTOH, "torching Bert" was great comedy for a close 3rd.

i thought of that, but did that the last two times i had a picture contest and wanted to do something different. I was hoping to be able to judge myself, but when it came down to it, like derekh said, i guess im just a pansy.

Voted for Psyop, asides from not harvesting the wood with a BK knife, his about was perfect in all the criteria.

Have to go with Psyop, Batoning the metal for the roof. Mudding the gaps between the logs. Getting his son involved. Not just burning it but blowing it up!
