So i tried getting some help over on the hinderer forum, but no luck. SteelAddiction recently had a sheath done for a Hinderer XM from Paul Long and was looking to get something similar done. For those of you who know Mr. Long his sheaths are made to fit, so you've got to send in your knife.

I'm currently overseas for a bit so it'd be a bit easier if someone in the states, preferably Texas, would be able to help me out. Paul Long(BF: sheathmaker) said once the knives arrive, he would have them back to you within 48hrs. If a weekend was in that time, then at max a calendar week.

So looking for someone who owns a Hinderer XM 3in non-flipper and a small sebenza that wouldn't mind mailing them out to Paul Long. If you're not in Texas I'll pay-pal your shipping cost to him. I've spoken to Mr. Long on this unique situation so if you're willing to help out you can contact him as well. His contact info is in his sig line, but here we go as well:

cheers, shoot me an email if you can help

Member here, yes.
References, absoultely. Pop over to the custom section, a lot of ABS, and CKCA members have sent their knives to him to have fitted to one of his sheaths. Check out Jim coopers thread of his photos he's done for the custom knife makers, and Paul Long will be referenced quite often(if not the most) for doing the sheath work.

Paul Long is widely recognised as one of the best sheathmakers there is just now. I can think of several ABS Master Smiths off the top of my head that send him knives worth thousands of dollars for sheaths to be fitted. That is about all the references I need. :D

OK, thanks guys. I have a small Seb I could loan. It'll be next week before I'm home and able to ship out. Am I correct in assuming he needs a righty? I can't help with Hinderer, all my 3"'s are flippers.

I'll need to make contact with him, too, just sent a PM.

yeah, a righty seb would be it. I'm going to call and see if he can still make a sheath even if the flipper is there. Try to kill 2 birds with 1 stone sort of deal.

Really appreciate the help lone-wolfe. Gonna shoot you an email in just a bit.
