I have a barlow with some minor scratches on the main blade. Can someone steer me in the right direction as to a trusted cutler who does this kind of work? So as not to violate the rules please PM me with your recommendations.

If the knife is a user than it will gather many more scratches while you use it! If you want it clean have you thought about sanding it yourself? Using wet/dry paper start at 220 and work your way up from there to your desired finish.

Yeah - I started to do it but I'm not much of a metal finisher.

Minor scratches?? Is this carbon or stainless? If it's the former there are two options: get some fine paper and 5 mins will sort them out, OR get more patina on it that hides scratches:cool:

If it's stainless, it's a bit more work with the paper to produce a matte scratch proof facade:D
