For various folders like a 710, 720, Endura, Military?

I'd like horizontal belt carry or maybe even an FBI canted type setup with an open top.

Thanks

Greg

Email me, tell me your specs an I'll see what I can do. On my knife page from the link below, you'll see a fixed blade with a sheath I made.

I heard that Gary is on a sabbatical from sheath making. I hope I am wrong, as I have a folder that I want a sheath for.

But I have a feeling he will be back in the not to soon distant future (hopefully).

Kenny Rowe makes a great leather sheath and his turn around time is within 2 weeks usually.

Info: 870-777-8216

Here's an example of one Gary's last sheaths. His attention to detail is wonderful.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT!

That is beautiful. I don't want something that looks like "I" made it. That pic is nice. That's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. I have a horizontal sheath for my mini-Socom that is well made like that and has a flap with a snap closure. It's got a basketweave pattern in it and it looks really nice. I wear it up in front, right over my right front pocket. It is very handy that way.

I got that one as part of a trade and I like it so much that I want to get some others for my other EDC knives. Nothing wrong with pocket clip carry, I just want something different.

I'll be contacting Gary today.

Does that other guy, Kenny have a website or email?

Greg,
You can contact Gary but like I said, he is taking a break for now and is not taking orders. Your best bet is to call Kenny. He doesn't have a web site but you can look at his work here:

Thanks Greg and my deepest apologies to Mr. Larry Chew, as that is or was supposed to be his family Sign, the person that ordered the sheath asked me to try to put it on the sheath since his knife didn't have the clip with the Emblem on it, so I decided to try to put it within a textured circle and to make it dyed red to have it really stand out, it's close to his Emblem, not exact but close and so I do apologize for not getting it better...

And the fellows are correct, I'm currently as of last night have put my tools away for a while, but mid summer I'll be back, I hope to be taking orders at that time, several fellows are in my Waiting folder and I'll be contacting them when the time comes to get back into it, might re-do my shed out back and try to work this into a seasonal type projects since the shed isn't heated and I don't like to leave my tools in the intense cold...

That knife by the way is a Larry Chew Cujo, D/A with double damascus bolsters and Carbon fiber inserts, very smooth and SHARP, it fits into the sheath nicely...

That thing is absolutely beautiful. If I were to get a sheath for a folder I would want one with that sort of worksmanship. Is that rayskin used for the emblem?

Thanks, the emblem was made by carving the image into the leather and then taking some background tools and texturing around the cut emblem, carefully! and then I dyed the design red and carefully dyed black dye around that and the rest of the sheath as well, a very striking image, the person that it was made for seemed quite happy when he received it, as it looks nicer in person, the image btw is one made by scanning the actual sheath on my flat bed scanner, does a pretty good job...

Well then consider the rayskin comment a very hihg compliment. Your skills are supreme. I will be looking you up whenever you decide to get back into the trade (assuming I can find a way to afford it).
