Here are the fishing pliers I use when I'm fishing (see link). I really like 'em because of the side cutter and the fact that they are spring loaded.
The drop in sheath I have now just isnt as secure as I would like it to be. I'm really looking for a kydex setup that will hold the pliers in a "semi-sprung" position. Another words I would like the maker to mold the kydex while the pliers are in a "semi-squeezed mode" so that squeezing them fully will allow the pliers to be taken in and out of the sheath.
Once the pliers and put back in the sheath the "fully springed open action" will keep the pliers snug in the sheath. I hope the explanation makes sense.
Obviously I would have to send the pliers to whoever is going to do it. Any takers?
