I was just checking out that other thread and the job PiterM did on his Sebenzas with a drillpress and a blowtorch. I'd love to have a Sebenza modded like that and thought about emailing him to hire him, but he's in freakin' POLAND! Is there anyone else around that does REALLY GOOD work like that?

Collucci used to do great mods on Sebenzas himself, but he's too busy these days, interviewing prospective avatars. :D

Tom Mayo has stopped reworking Sebenza's, so Matt is officially "Top Dog" as far as screwing up you CRK goes ;) ;) :p

Don't let this old fart fool you. The only mod I did to my Seb (if you could call it that) was to add a leather fob.

First of all of course contact Matt Cucchiarra as his work was my inspiration, that's clear. He's a great man to deal with. He also has nothing against me drilling some of the benzas like that (thanks again Matt!).

BTW, "freakin' Poland"... is it really so far? I'd say 3-6 days with Global Express... but... never mind

I emailed Matt on Saturday but haven't heard back yet.

Since you put it that way it doesn't seem so bad. What would you charge for a job like that? Your pics were an inspiration.

I'm thinking something like a "water" theme pattern and having the handle turned blue. Will it go blue under a tourch?

SC_rebel1957 probably would, his rates are very reasonable.
I've seen pics of the work he did on a Spydie Ti Salsa. It looked like an extremely professional job.

If Tom Mayo quit doing Sebbies, it was very recently as he did mine just before BLADE of this year. You could E/M him and ask in any event.

Rob
