I've received an answer to my "steel prayer"...THANKS EVERYONE!

Well seems as Jeremy Horton has a boomin' business and has given up mods of other makers blades...good luck which yo' bidness mang'...nice stuph...

ANYWAY that leaves me hangin' cuz' he had the FFBM in hand - I was already drooling just thinkin' about it...gotta clean up my slobber....

So can anybody tell me who else does mods on FFBM's like the one below?

I don't think Ban is taking new work.

Bill Siegle has been known to do mod work on Busse, and Bark River will, too.

Doesn't look like much was done on that FFFBM. :confused:
 
HEY Jerry!.....does the Busse Custom Shop do mods like that...?

Horton has stopped doing mod work,,,,,,,, concentrating on making his own blades ,,,,, best bet for modding a BattleMistress would be Busse Combat,,,,,won't void the warranty either :thumbup::thumbup:

There is no doubt in my mind that the Busse Custom Shop is the way to go. They turn out some awesome blade art. :thumbup:
 
Before I sent that FFBM to Horton I asked Garth about it. He said that the blade would have to be done in a full flat grind. That would eliminate the sabre and because I wanted the sabre profile in tact, well it wasn't an option.
Jeremy surfaced both sides.
 
Garth is the Master. You should see what he did to my Public Defender. :eek:

Hey fellas, I am in the same position. I just picked up a second hand cgFBM that I would love to have satin finished and convexed. Still the custom shop you say?! How would I go about getting in touch with the custom shop? Thanks guys...it's hard being an ignorant piglet :o
