While looking at chef knives from F Dick I saw that they also made a folder. Who knew?
So being one who likes to check out knives and other sharp pointy things I purchased one. (Like I need another)
Here are a couple of pics

Has anyone else seen these?
Oh, it's a really nice knife. Sharp, solid and feels good in the hand.

No...but I have an F. Dick steel...where do you get the folders?...im liking the look of that.

I have several of their steels, they make great steels. I had no idea they made a folder.

This is my first time seeing this brand of knife- they have been around a long time! I like their neon green filet knife I found on a kitchen knife sight

Looks like Germany, at least where the company was from, looked up the site in the box. looks like they had other stores in other countries.

Friedr Dick is an old German Cutler who's well respected in the butcher field, but the chances are good that they did not manufacture this folder themselves.

A couple places that sell their other cutlery sell this and do say it's made in Germany.

Thanks, I was hoping it was not a Chinese make under contract to them. Can we tell what steel it is? Stainless of course. Did the other sites say what steel?

Nice looking knife.

It seems like a departure for them. I think of steels first and kitchen knives second.

I think "Germany" can mean as little as German company, and "Made in Germany" can mean assembled in Germany from imported parts.
