Who censored the forum?

...or more to the point - WHY was the forum censored? Unless I misread something, there were several dozen people who supported bantering and sense of community in shop talk.

There were two who were whining about it.

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions. This afternoon there was a Tom and Jerry type thread developing and tonight, it's gone. Maybe something happened I don't know about. Yes - that must be it because I can't imagine the moderator(s) would deliberately upset 95% of the posting members here to appease two.

...or am I the only one that thinks knifemaking is more than a technical bulletin?

because they are stealing the "serious" threads the attention. however, this sucks, and those people have some serious problems. if they start censoring all the way this forum will die someday IMHO.

These type of post belong in W&C thats all .
A little humor once in a while is great .
The forums have been full of posts about shameless advertiseing. Just trying to offset the problem a little. Post as you will but lets keep it more scaled down, If ya got a new knife cool. If ya got a question with a pic cool. If your just proud as a new born baby fine post it. But its just getting a little out of hand . This is shop talk not whats new or W&C . W&C what put together for the type of post that was moved.

Please dont think this is derespect. Its just getting a little out of control.

Did you ever as a real knife buyer what they though of you as knife makers.
Go to whine and cheese and look at the post on annoying things that knifemakers do.

One that was mentioned was cheesey posts about to many pic on the forums in every post.

We all have to make a living here and I post from time to time also. But not in every post. GEEEEEZUZZZZZZZ
Think about what folks think. Buy a banner if ya wanna advertise then you deserve a little
extra. Have some respect for others.

If you make a good products I know your proud of them so do others. Post a few times and let it go. The products take care of them selves. People know if your lame or not

HEll I like to have fun . But lets take the posts just for humor and put them where they belong.

Please call me a bastid many times ok. I can take it.

Darrel, how do you get on the Whine and Cheese Forum. You need a username and a password and a forum password to access.

ok...I get the message...no more pictures. however...Im NOT going to any forum where I have to have a password....sorry.

I have to add, with ALL due respect to the moderators, that I have NEVER seen a thread deleted like that before. Lots of locked threads, left in place, but never one completely disappeared. I also do not agree with any forum needing a password, thats my opinion and Im sure I will get blasted for it, but thats how I feel. sincerely and contritely......I really want to stick a picture here right now...but I wont...
